Healthy Cane Network

The Healthy Cane Network is a collaborative effort within the Division of Student Affairs that pulls on resources from the departments of Housing & Residential Life, Dean of Students Office - The Sandler Center for Alcohol and Other Drug Education, Wellness & Recreation, Counseling Center, Student Health Service, and ‘Canes Care for ‘Canes.

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. As such it is the goal of this network to support students overall wellbeing, and to provide an environment on campus that allows students not only to reach, but to exceed their potential. This is accomplished by expanding protective factors and strengths and reducing personal, campus and community health risk factors.
